What is EcoEgg?

The laundry egg is an innovative and unique laundry washing system that uses two types of mineral pellets (white and grey), encased in a recyclable egg, to thoroughly clean clothes.

White mineral pellets: Made up of biodegradable surfactants, stabilizers, builders, and binders. It's these pellets that do most of the actual cleaning.

How to Use the EcoEgg

Open your Laundry Egg and fill the larger half of the egg with the two types of mineral pellets. Close your egg until it ‘clicks’.

To to get the best results from your EcoEgg we recommend you use an EcoEgg Washing Machine detox tablet to remove any built up residue from laundry conventional liquids and powders. 

Hand Wash: Place the egg to soak in water for 5-10 minutes then hand wash as normal. 

Washing Machine: Place it in your washing machine on top of your laundry.

Suitable for water temperatures 15° – 60°C.

Always follow instructions on the garment label.

Treat stains prior to washing.

When to change the pellets

It is recommended to change the pellets when:

1. the white pellets are half the size they were initially.
2. the pellets fall beneath the white line on the larger half of the egg.
